PhD candidate, Criminal Justice, Liverpool John Moores University

Emma is a research assistant at LJMU and has begun a PhD in Criminal Justice. Areas of interest include issues around safeguarding children, Child Exploitation and multi-agency and collaborative working and domestic abuse.

Prior to beginning her PhD, Emma worked as a research assistant at University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) and completed her MSc in Psychology in 2017. Emma also completed an MA in Social Work in 2009 at UCLAN work history has largely centred around working with children and families including Children's Social Care and Sefton Youth Offending Team.
