Senior Lecturer in Law, University of Sheffield

Emma joined the University of Sheffield School of Law as a Senior Lecturer in Law in January 2020. Prior to that she was a Senior Lecturer and Teaching Director at The Open University School of Law. Her research focuses on the role of emotion and wellbeing within legal education (and other aspects of higher education) and in the legal profession. She also has a keen interest in digital lawyering. Emma is a qualified solicitor (non-practising) and has a PGCE in Post-Compulsory Education and Training. She also has an MA in Politics and Contemporary History and an MSc in Construction Law and Arbitration and is an accredited mediator.
