Senior Lecturer in Law and Teaching Director for Law, The Open University

Emma joined the School of Law as a Lecturer in Law in December 2014 and became a Senior Lecturer in October 2018. She has worked as an Associate Lecturer on a variety of law modules since 2006.

Her research focuses on the role of emotion and wellbeing within legal education (and other aspects of higher education) and in the legal profession. She is a qualified solicitor (non-practising) and has a PGCE in Post-Compulsory Education and Training. She also has an MA in Politics and Contemporary History and an MSc in Construction Law and Arbitration.
