Enrique Barrajón Catalán

1. Multidisciplinary backgrund: my academic backgroud includes a Biochemistry Degree (1999) a Pharmacy Degree (2011) and a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology (2005). These background provided a wide knowledge covering from molecular aspects to physicochemical properties, including pharmacological and clinical concepts and allow me to face different challenges in research.
2. Research background on R&D companies: after my PhD, I have been working in several companies where I have obtained experience not only in research, but also in team development and supervision. Recently (2018), our research group has created a spin-off company, “Ilice Effitech”, which is focused in R&D for cosmetics and functional ingredients.
3. Research experience: my publications, congress participations, patents and contracts show a continue and active career including both national and international collaborations.
4. Teaching experience: I started my teaching career on 2011 as Associate professor in Pharmacy faculty of Universidad Miguel Hernandez, since then, I have become “Ayudante Doctor” professor and increasing my experience by joining to “PhD Program in Molecular and Cellular Biology”, “Master degree in Biotechnology and Bioingeneering” and “Master degree in clinic pharmacokinetics and individual posology”, all in Universidad Miguel Hernández.
