Erika Techera is an international and comparative environmental lawyer with a focus on oceans governance. Her current research focuses on rigs-to-reefs law and policy, international governance of marine megafauna, frameworks for monitoring and enforcement of IUU fishing, marine protected area management, Indo-Pacific marine environmental law and the safeguarding of intangible heritage. She has received funding from the Australian Research Council.
