Professor of Health Policy and Systems, American University of Beirut

Fadi El-Jardali is a Professor of Health Policy and Systems, Director of the Knowledge to Policy (K2P) Center; Co-Director of the Center for Systematic Reviews in Health Policy and Systems Research (SPARK); and Co-Director of the WHO Collaborating Center for Evidence-Informed Policy and Practice at the American University of Beirut (AUB), Lebanon.
His research activities and publications are focused on health policy and systems, evidence synthesis and knowledge translation. Before joining academia, he worked in policy analysis institutions including Health Canada, Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-term Care and Health Council of Canada.
He is member of the Board of Health Systems Global Society (HSG) (currently the treasurer) (http://healthsystemsglobal.org/) and has recently been re-elected to the HSG Board. He is a founding member of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Health Policy Forum.
