I am a Biologist-turned-Engineer excited to work on environmental problems!
I hold an integrated BS-MS Dual Degree in Biological Sciences from IISER Bhopal. During my undergraduate degree, I have been exposed to various fields in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Environmental Sciences. Besides, I have done multiple internships including the MITACS Globalink Summer Internship-2019. Carrying out internships in multidisciplinary fields has always excited me and thus prompted me to choose environmental engineering for my Ph.D. Therefore currently I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Civil Engineering at McGill University.
To my credit, I also have several publications in international research journals including a first-authored review article and two more under submission. I have attended several conferences including the challenging iGEM Giant Jamboree-2018 held in Boston where we bragged a medal.
Writing and Reading skills have always been my solid skill sets and I am really proud of them. I strongly believe that scientific knowledge should be accessible to the public. Communication thus lays the strong basis for taking research forward!
