Trained as a geographer with specialization in water resource management, my general research interests are sustainability and the application of systems thinking to address issues of global environmental concern. I have worked professionally in the water treatment space and as a training facilitator in occupational risk management. My more recent research interests include agriculture, farming systems, water governance and issues surrounding the food-water-agriculture nexus. I am currently engaged in research at the Institute for Water Research in Rhodes University as a postdoctoral researcher.
