Researcher, Tropical Ecology, Federal University of Pará

I am a Brazilian ecologist with broad interests in conservation biology and environmental sciences. I am interested in understanding how human-driven disturbance, such as wildfires and selective logging, affect the tropical biodiversity and associated ecosystem processes. I believe that scientific knowledge should me used to improve the sustainable management of natural resources and to face challenges for biodiversity conservation.
