Filippos Proedrou

Senior Lecturer in Global Political Economy, University of South Wales

Filippos Proedrou is Senior Lecturer in Global Political Economy at the University of South Wales. His main interests include EU-Russia relations, Black Sea and Eastern Mediterranean geopolitics, climate security, EU energy and climate policy, energy transitions, energy and climate policy, and Greek energy and foreign policy. He has authored the monographs Energy policy and security under climate change and EU energy security in the gas sector: evolving dynamics, policy dilemmas and prospects, as well as a number of articles in peer-reviewed journals. Filippos has also served as Academic Fellow for the National Assembly for Wales, providing expert advice to the Climate Change, Environment and Rural Affairs Committee on Wales’ climate policy gap.
