Fiona Hassett

I am currently approaching my final year as a PhD student researching treatment service design, from the perspective of 3 main groups: commissioners; 'concerned others'; and people with lived experience of co-occurring mental health alcohol and drug conditions, who have struggled to successfully engage in treatment. I am also an FE Lecturer in Sociology and Psychology. My Masters degree was completed in 2019, the dissertation focusing on the experiences of practitioners in supporting people defined as having 'complex needs', meaning a combination of mental heath, substance misuse, homelessness and offending background needs.
