I am a senior lecturer for the department of private law (a branch of law that deals with legal issues that arise between individuals) . I acquired my PhD in law 2017. I have been in academia for more than a decade.My area of expertise is the the law of delict, that deals with civil claims that can be instituted against another individual for
the wrongful and culpable act that causes another harm or infringes another's personality interest.

I have also taught for a considerable amount of time in criminal law and enjoy writing in this area as well.

Prior to academia I practiced as an attorney dealing with civil and criminal litigation
