Francesc Solsona Tehas

My research experience is summarized in 3 Research 6-year awards and with an h-index equal to 14 (Google Scholar), +100 articles published in scientific journals (with a total of 795 citations), +50 of which are within the JCR. I have directed 5 doctoral theses with a cum laude rating of 3 years and with good scientific results (at least a couple of articles in JCR journals have been published in each thesis). In addition, 4 of them have received the 'European Doctorate' or 'International' Mention, taken within the doctoral program (Information Technology and Engineering) of the UdL, with a Mention for Excellence (MEE 2011-0481). I have participated in +30 competitive research projects, 7 of them in the National R+D+I Plan and have been Principal Investigator of one of them (TIN2011-28689-C02-02). I am currently part of the GCD (Distributed Computing Group) of the UdL. GCD is a consolidated research group, accredited by the Generalitat (2017SGR363). Notice the participation in 1 Consolider project (CSD2007-00050), 3 transfer projects (FIT-340000-2007-44, TSI-020100-2008-21 and TSI-020100-2009-240), 2 European projects (SOE4 /P1/E804 and 2019-1-ES01-KA203-064496) and 1 RecerCaixa project (2014ACUP00036), with great social impact. I am currently supervising 4 theses, one of which is part of an Industrial Doctorate, granted by the AGAUR (Generalitat de Catalunya). In addition, I regularly participate as a reviewer in various conferences and JCR journals.
