Francesca Citron

Lecturer in Psychology, Lancaster University

I am a psycholinguist and neuroscientist. My research currently focuses on the comprehension of figurative language and its neural correlates, conceptual metaphors and their grounding in sensory-motor representations, and second language processing. Recently, I developed an interest in aesthetic (beauty) perception. Other research interests concern links between emotion and language, and language learning. I lecture on Advanced Cognitive Psychology, Brain and Behaviour, Advanced Issues in Neuroscience, and Psycholinguistics.
