Francesco De-Cecco

Lecturer in Law, Newcastle University

Francesco de Cecco received his first Law degree (Laurea in Giurisprudenza) from the University of Florence, and holds an MJur and an MPhil from the University of Oxford, and a DPhil from the University of Sussex.

His research interests revolve around the constitutional and economic law of the EU. He has published a monograph on State aid for Hart Publishing, and various articles on disparate aspects of EU law, such as fundamental rights, harmonisation and free movement, which appeared in the Common Market Law Review, European Law Review, Cambridge Yearbook of European Legal Studies, and the German Law Journal.
