Frank Jotzo is Professor at the ANU Crawford School of Public Policy and Head of Energy, ANU Institute for Climate Energy and Disaster Solutions. As an environmental economist, his research focuses on policy relevant aspects of climate change and energy, in the context of development and economic reform.
Frank Jotzo is joint editor-in-chief of the journal Climate Policy and a Lead Author of Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change 5th and 6th Assessment Reports. He has been involved in policy research and advisory exercises, including to providing advice to Australian federal and State/Territory governments in formal and informal roles, providing analysis to government agencies in other countries, and initiator and lead of different research initiatives. He frequently comments in the media and tweets @frankjotzo.
