Frederick Hauke is completing a doctorate in philosophy at the University of Cambridge, entitled Defining Dignity – A German Quest, 1770–1950.

He has a BA in History, German Literature, and Linguistics from Heidelberg University and an MA in Philosophy from Goethe University Frankfurt, which focused on political, legal and moral philosophy; human rights and normative ethics.

Frederick has recently been working with the UN Human Rights Office (OHCHR) and the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights on universal narratives of human rights.
