Senior Lecturer in Psychology, University of Liverpool

Freya is a Senior Lecturer and member of the Forensic and Investigative Psychology research group at the University of Liverpool. She has 17 years experience of working in partnership with regional and national law enforcement agencies (including the Metropolitan Police Service and the National Crime Agency) to conduct research. Freya was Co-Chair the 4th International Conference for Missing Adults and Children at the University of Liverpool in 2019.

Freya's areas of research expertise include examining risk of harm whilst missing, the spatial behaviour of missing people and offenders, the attrition of modern slavery, trafficking, and exploitation cases from the criminal justice system, as well as the case linkage of sexual offences.
