Gabrielle Hogan-Brun is Visiting Professor and Senior Researcher at Vytautas Magnus University, Kaunas, Lithuania. Her research is on language policy and practice in multilingual settings, and on economic aspects of multilingualism. Among her recent publications are: Why Study Languages? (London Publishing Partnership, 2021); Linguanomics: What is the Market Potential of Multilingualism? (Bloomsbury Academic, 2017); The Palgrave Handbook of Minority Languages and Communities (co-ed. with B. O'Rourke, 2019; winner of the BAAL Book Prize in 2020). With Stephen May she co-edits the book series Palgrave Studies in Minority Languages and Communities.
