Gary Lupyan graduated with a Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University and the Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition in 2007, where his dissertation was on the linguistic effects on visual processing. The aim of Gary's primary line of research is to investigate and delineate the extra-communicative functions of language.
