Gaurav teaches Actuarial Studies in the Research School of Finance, Actuarial Studies and Applied Statistics. He is also involved in teaching the Commercial Actuarial Practise course for the Institute of Actuaries.
Prior to joining the ANU, Gaurav was at Bond University where he was instrumental in achieving accreditation for their actuarial program.
Gaurav's research interests span the fields of Life Insurance and Superannuation. His main area of research is the analysis of life-cycle decision-making process through numerical stochastic dynamic programming.
