Gayathri D Naik is a lawyer enrolled at the High Court of Kerala. She holds BAL.LLB(MGU, Kerala),MPA(IGNOU,New Delhi),LLM(SAU, New Delhi). Presently she is a doctoral candidate at School of Law, SOAS University of London. A Commonwealth Scholar from India, her doctoral research looks into implications of water-related subsidies on social and environmental equity in accessing groundwater in India. Her research interests include environmental law and policy, water issues, international law and gender issues.
