Gee Macrory

I am a former Principal Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) where I worked for 28 years as a language teacher educator, after working as a teacher and advisory teacher. I am currently a Visiting Research Fellow at MMU. My teaching and research interests include primary and secondary languages teaching, English as an Additional Language (EAL) and bilingualism, and early literacy. I am a member of the Committee for Linguistics in Education (CLiE), and a member of the Executive Committee of the British Association for Applied Linguistics (BAAL). I am also a governor in a Manchester primary school, with responsibility for EAL and Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND).
