Originally from Los Gatos, CA, George Saffouri, MD, did his medical school training at VCU School of Medicine in Richmond, VA. Subsequently, he completed his internal medicine residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and stayed there for his gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship, from which he graduated in June 2018. He has clinical interests in inflammatory bowel disease and C. difficile infection. He loves good coffee, video games, and comic books. Also his wife and baby girl. (Not in that order.)
