Gerhard Van de Venter

Gerhard Van de Venter, PhD, CFA is an Associate Professor at University of Technology Sydney. He began his career in South Africa as a financial analyst in the agricultural sector and later as a dealer on the Bond Exchange, trading in fixed income securities. Gerhard’s academic career spans over 20 years where he has taught in the areas of finance, investments and ethics and has published a number of papers and books in these areas. He was previously Director, Curriculum Projects, in the Education Division at CFA Institute and holds a PhD in finance from University of Technology Sydney.
