Gianmarco Daniele is an economist with an interest in political, public and development economics. He is an Assistant Professor at University of Milan and Executive Director of the CLEAN Unit on the economics of crime at Bocconi University. He is also an Associate Researcher at the Institut d'Economia Barcelona.

​His main topics of interest are policy evaluation, organized crime, political accoutability, populism, corruption, local public finance, European politics, social capital.
