Dr. Gillian Gregory is a Research Fellow in Mining Governance at the University of Melbourne School of Geography, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. She is also an Adjunct Professor at the Universidad de los Andes, Colombia, and an Honorary Researcher at the School of Geography and Sustainable Communities at the University of Wollongong. Her background includes research on the socioeconomic dimensions of natural resource management and extractives. Her current work focuses on mine closure and post-mine planning and policy, particularly in Latin America.
