Graeme Close is a sport nutrition consultant, professor of Human Physiology and programme leader for the Masters degree in Sport Nutrition at LJMU.
Graeme provides nutrition and physiology consultancy alongside academic research to some of the world’s leading sports organisations, including England Rugby, European Tour Golfers and Everton Football Club.

His research focuses on using sport nutrition to maximize athletes’ performance, body composition and recovery. He has published over 100 papers, review articles and book chapters and is invited to speak about sport nutrition to audiences across the world.
