Greg Naterer is the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science and a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. He is a visionary leader in higher education and research, innovation based on collaborative and interdisciplinary partnerships, and academic programs that have a transformative impact on student experiences. Dr. Naterer has served in prominent national and international leadership roles in education and research, such as Chair of the National Council of Deans of Engineering and Applied Science of Canada. He has also made significant contributions to research in the fields of energy systems, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics. Dr. Naterer is the Editor-in-Chief of the AIAA Journal of Thermophysics and Heat Transfer. Among his awards and honors, Dr. Naterer has received the Robert W. Angus Medal of the Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering (CSME), Julian C. Smith Medal of the Engineering Institute of Canada and CSME Jules Stachiewicz Medal.
