Hamid Foroughi

I hold a PhD in Organization Theory (Henley Business School, University of Reading) and Master degrees in Business Administration (Sharif University of Technology) and Anthropology (London School of Economics). My research explores how collective (historical) memories are shaped, how they provide a framework for understanding the past—but also the present—, and how they influence an organizational reputation and legitimacy. I am also fascinated by leaders’ power of storytelling in shaping their followers' cognitive framework and inciting action. I have previously studied the above issues in both business and non-profit sectors.
