Assistant Professor in International Relations, Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) Yogyakarta

Hangga currently serves as the Executive Secretary at Universitas Islam Indonesia, where he researches and teaches Australia's relations with the Asia-Pacific region. In 2023, he was selected for the Australia Awards Short Course on Strategic Equilibrium in the Indo-Pacific. In 2024, he was honoured to be part of the Emerging Indo-Pacific Leaders Program by the Perth USAsia Centre, supported by the U.S. State Department.

His current research also explores the politics of higher education as a global public good. With over a decade of experience in university administration, he has led initiatives across academic programs, public relations, internationalisation, strategic partnerships, student admissions, university secretariat functions, and alumni engagement.
