My expertise is in social psychology. I am interested in how people relate to each other, both in positive interactions (prosociality, helping) and negative interactions (prejudice, discrimination). A lot of my work has focussed on how group identities (e.g., belonging to a certain national or ethnic group) shape human thoughts, emotions, and interactions.
