Hannah Middleton is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Melbourne and a member of the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Gravitational Wave Discovery (OzGrav).
Her interests include working on data analysis for the LIGO observatories which have detected gravitational waves from black hole and neutron star collisions. She is also working on what we might be able to learn from pulsar timing arrays, which search for gravitational waves from super-massive black hole binaries, much much larger than those detectable by LIGO.
She is passionate about science communication with public engagement and is the deputy editor-in-chief of the LIGO Magazine (www.ligo.org/magazine/).
