Hannah Olubunmi Ajayi

Hannah Olubunmi Ajayi is a Professor of Early Childhood Education in the Institute of Education, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. She teaches early childhood education and language arts courses.

She has supervised many Master and Ph. D students and she is an examiner for many institutions nationally and internationally. She has published in reputable national and international journals. Her areas of research interests are in childhood development, language, reading development, social equality and equity in early childhood education, learning environment and play. She has attended several national and international conferences to present her research activities.

She has served as resource person and consultant to NERDC, Federal Ministry of Education, UNICEF, schools and some publishing houses. She has written nursery textbooks and storybooks. She is on editorial team for many academic journals nationally and internationally. She belongs to many professional bodies nationally and internationally.
