PhD Candidate at Leiden University, The University of Melbourne

Hanum Atikasari is a PhD Candidate at the Institute of Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology, Leiden University. Her research project is part of the ERC funded project on Globalizing Palliative Care.

Prior to joining the Institute, she worked as a Research Assistant for Nossal Institute for Global Health at The University of Melbourne. The ethnographic study was funded by the Australia Research Council and titled ‘Biographies of vulnerability and resilience: The lived experiences of middle-aged women affected by cervical cancer in Indonesia’.
