Carnegie SFM Postdoctoral fellow, Central European University

Harout Akdedian is Carnegie SFM Postdoctoral Fellow at the Central European University‘s Center for Religious Studies, and a visiting scholar at Portland State University’s Middle East Studies Center. He has a PhD in Islamic Studies from the University of New England in Australia and his current research focuses on religion, state and disintegration in Syria.
