Helen Nichols

Helen Nichols is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology and Co-Leader of the Prison Research Network (PRisoN) alongside Dr Bill Davies at Leeds Beckett University.

Between 2004 and 2016, Helen has studied Criminology at undergraduate, Masters and PhD level. She has taught Criminology at universities since 2010 which has included two posts leading degree programmes. This has involved developing a number of new modules and two degree programmes. In addition to teaching, Helen also supervises dissertations at undergraduate and Masters level.

Helen is Co-Lead of the Prison Research Network (PRisoN) which brings together academics, prisons and third sector organisations to explore opportunities for research, enterprise and education in prison and post-prison settings.
