Registered as an Integrative Psychotherapist (UKCP and BACP) registered by the Professional Standards Authority; Group Analyst; Associate Member Royal Society for Public Health; Founder and Fellow ADMP UK; Fellow Higher Education Academy and Founding Editor-in-Chief for peer reviewed journal 'Body, Movement and Dance in Psychotherapy' published by Taylor and Francis since 2012. Arts Psychotherapist specialising in Embodied Psychotherapy. Developed and researched The BodyMind Approach (TBMA) which has been specifically designed for people experiencing medically unexplained symptoms to self-manage and tested in the NHS. These are bodily symptoms which come back as normal after tests and scans etc. For example, IBS, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, headache, backache etc. Trainer of facilitators in TBMA and academic supervisor for doctoral students worldwide, Helen is a researcher, recently conducting studies on student mental health in higher education and staff confidence in supporting these students.
