Adjunct Associate Professor, University of Canberra

I am a development geographer and conducted extensive studies on environmental policy, community development, community forestry and livelihoods, and environmental policy and science policy interface. I spent over two decades conducting research and engaging with policy actors in South Asia, especially Nepal. I have conducted research into disaster recovery after the 2015 earthquakes in Nepal. I have written 5 books (published by Routledge and Cambridge) and published over two dozens peer reviewed journal articles based on my research.
