I am Head of Post-Production for the BA Film and Television Production degree and Programme Leader for the MA Film and Television Production degree in the School of Creative Arts. My area of teaching specialism is in editing, film post-production workflow, colour correction and grading, motion graphics, encoding and finishing. In 2018 I was named Most Inspirational Lecturer in Creative Arts by the University of Hertfordshire Student Union awards.

I am also a world recognised expert in the production and films of Stanley Kubrick, having created and hosted the official 35th anniversary reunion of the crew from The Shining, and contributing as lead UK researcher towards the official book on the making of the film - due to be published by Taschen. I created the widely respected oral history film, Staircases to Nowhere, as an oral history of the making of The Shining.

For the past decade I have led The Elstree Project which is an oral history of the six film and television studios in Borehamwood and Elstree. I have interviewed Steven Spielberg, Simon Pegg, Brian Blessed, Christiane Kubrick, Sir Roger Moore, Kenneth Cope and filmed over 60 interviews with crew members who worked at productions in the various studios from the 1950s to the present day.
