PHD University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1977 in Physical Geography. Over 40 years experience teaching and researching atmospheric science, including climatology, climate change, air pollution, and air pollution management. Over 100 peer reviewed publications (see Linked-In data base) and author or co-author of six books. Current major research foci particle air pollution, including chemistry and relationship to weather; climate and weather data analysis of the Eversleigh data set (1877-1922) from the New England Plateau. Latest book: Smoky City: A History or Air Pollution in Newcastle, published July 1915 by Hunter Press (co-author Nancy Cushing). Past-President, Clean aIr Society of Australia and New Zealand (CASANZ).
