Dr McDermott is Senior Lecturer in Law Enforcement at the Australian Graduate School of Policing, Sydney, and is the Postgraduate Course Co-ordinator of all Fraud & Financial Investigation courses at the School. In this role he lectures at CSU Campuses in Australia, at the Jakarta Centre for Law Enforcement Cooperation (UNODC Indonesia), the National Police Academy India, and in the Middle East.
