Hugo Chan is the Director and Architect of Studio HC, a research-driven design practice founded in late-2018 with a primary focus on the context for and effects of adaptive reuse within urban contexts. His research interests are primarily focused around ecological and cultural sustainability, examining how practitioners can reimagine our cities through critical interrogation and engagement with social and cultural histories of place. In parallel to his private work, Hugo is also the Architect & Associate, Practice Management of Cracknell & Lonergan Architects a firm he has been with since 2011, focusing primarily on conservation, planning, environmental law and urban residential development.
