Lecturer in Planning and Human Geography, La Trobe University

Hulya is an urban planner and researcher with over 15 years of industry experience with both local government and non-government sectors. She is the principal consultant at Planning Perspectives Plus, an Adelaide based-small planning and demography consultancy business.

Hulya completed her PhD on the role of child and youth friendly places in creating socially and environmentally sustainable neighbourhoods in the context of active travel and active play at UniSA, sponsored by CRC Low Carbon Living. She currently works as a Lecturer at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at La Trobe University.
