Ady is an associate professor of public health at the Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Bali, Indonesia. He is a board certified family physician, and also a travel medicine practitioner.
He is currently the head of the Health Research Centre (Puslitkes) LPPM, and also the Program Coordinator for the Bachelor of Public Health Study Program at Udayana University.
His research interests include global health, travel health, tourism's health, occupational health and family medicine. He is currently the principal investigator of the integrated travel health surveillance and information system at destinations (TravHeSID) project. He is also the co-founder of Bali Travel Health, Bali Expat Health, and Kesmas TV.
