Ian Fargher

Ian Fargher is a lecturer and co-ordinator of postgraduate accounting, governance and entrepreneurial finance subjects in the MBA program of the University of Wollongong's Sydney Business School.

A chartered accountant with specialty qualifications in forensic accounting and valuation, he has researched and published in the area of forensic accounting and business valuation. He has given forensic accounting evidence in several legal jurisdictions including the Supreme Court of NSW.

Before moving to an academic role, Ian was an Assistant Commissioner of Taxation with the Australian Taxation Office, leading tax compliance in GST and SME income tax.
