Ian Hampson

Ian Hampson is Associate Professor at the School of Management, and an associate of the Industrial Relations Research Centre, in the Australian School of Business at the University of New South Wales. He teaches Human Resource Management, and has published in the political economy of skill, industry and training policy, work organization, industrial relations, and skills recognition.

Ian is currently working on two Australian Research Council funded research projects – ‘The future of aircraft maintenance in Australia: Workforce Capability, Aviation Safety and Industry Development’ (LP110100335), and ‘Recognising the skill in jobs traditionally considered unskilled’ (LP110200888).
