I am a John Curtin Distinguished Professor of Physics at Curtin University who has been the Head of Physics and Astronomy at Curtin University since 2010. My research area is Quantum Collision Theory in Atomic and Molecular Physics, with particular applications in nuclear fusion energy, astrophysics, and medical imaging and therapy. Academic interests include Education issues at Universities and Schools. For example, see http://docs.education.gov.au/node/36271 for review of the F-6 Science and Senior Physics National Curriculum. Leisure pursuits include playing the piano, Golf, Football and Table Tennis.
