Ingo Henneberg is a Phd candidate at the Chair of Multi-Level Governance of the Department of Political Science. He studied political science and international law at the Universities of Bamberg, Passau, Málaga and Augsburg and graduated with a BA in Governance and Public Policy and an MA in Conflict Studies. His research deals among others with strategic issues of foreign, security and defence policy, civil wars and peace agreements, regional and international cooperation and especially regional security cooperation with focus on Africa.
He has field research experience from Botswana, Ethiopia, South Africa and Tanzania. His publications have appeared among others in International Studies Review, South African Journal of International Affairs, International Journal, the Oxford Encyclopedia of Foreign Policy Analysis, Africa Spectrum and the German Journal of Peace and Conflict Studies. In addition, he is an expert on digital technologies and State Teaching Award Winner.
