Dr Ingrid Suter holds a doctorate in elephant conservation , focussing on captive elephants in the Lao PDR. Ingrid has worked for elephant conservation NGO ElefantAsia and IUCN, working on a variety of conservation and community based projects. She is currently the Co-Founder of Asian Captive Elephant Standards, an organisation that audits and evaluates welfare standards at elephant camps.
