Ingrid is a qualitative researcher with training in cultural & social history and medical sociology. Her research interests include HIV, gender, biotechnologies, and sexual health & rights. She is particularly interested in the intersections of biomedicine, public health, gender and participation. Ingrid completed a PhD in Sociology at Newcastle University and has previously worked at the University of Glasgow & the Institute of Development Studies.
